Content Production Specialist (LTE)

Job Summary

The Content Production Specialist is the logistical and organizational driver behind all DCX content production here at Spectrum Brands. They track and move content production forward from concept to completion; helping to plan, budget, schedule and manage all aspects of the production process. This position works with Brand and DCX Creatives to select, source, and acquire talent, wardrobe, props, locations, and products for content production across all business units. The Producer is the counterpart to our creative team, helping to facilitate and pave the way for amazing creative work and flawless technical execution. This position is the “face” of the department, and the first stop for anyone seeking to begin a project or ask a production related question.

 

**This is a limited term employment position.  The anticipated length is ongoing as the work is project based.  This position is not eligible for benefits.**

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Capture in-studio & on location photography; maintaining a high-quality standard and ensuring images adhere to SPB brand guidelines. Maintain technical guidelines and standards to ensure efficiency and consistency across all assets. This includes but is not limited to lighting set-ups, composition, image quality and crops. Work closely with the Content Production Team adhering to and following through on guidelines. Retouch product images and ensure proper product color · Organize and manage files as part of the studio/retouching workflow. Adhere to deadlines and maintain content trackers Education and Experience Profile 5+ years of professional experience is required. Related associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Required Skills Proven technical expertise of lighting, cameras, tethering, and best file management practices Strong knowledge of Capture One and Photoshop Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to maintain visual consistency and align with brand guidelines. A critical thinker who can easily adapt and effectively problem solve A perfectionist eye for detail and color accuracy Works well independently, given specific instruction/direction Team player with a positive and upbeat attitude Can lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for long hours 5+ years of experience working in a commercial photography studio or agency Previous experience in home goods. A great, positive, “never let them see you sweat” approach to production and client service. A bachelor's degree in visual communication or a BFA in Photography a plus Video editing is a plus Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office/ production environment.
