Content Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Assessment: Independently assess client’s B2B marketing maturity, define marketing goals and objectives, and clarify project scopes with client stakeholders. Client Engagement: Establish and align procedures and timelines for content operations and KPIs with clients. Build and stabilize content production processes and workflows. Content Audits: Perform content audits, map content to buyer stages, and formulate new content plans to meet client objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with design and UI/UX teams to integrate branding and UI/UX recommendations. Priority Coordination: Coordinate priorities with client stakeholders, identifying dependencies or risks proactively. Performance Analysis: Analyze performance data, collaborating with campaign strategists and data analysts to optimize marketing campaigns. Best Practices: Champion 2X best practices for content and design with client stakeholders.

Core Functions:

Content Architect

Content Auditing, Strategy and Production Plan: Conduct a thorough content audit to assess the current materials and identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations aligned with client’s marketing/business goals. Once these recommendations are agreed upon, develop a detailed roadmap and execution plan -end-to-end content production plan encompassing both content creation and design team to ensure a seamless implementation. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective content delivery. Client Interaction: Be seen as a strategic partner to the main stakeholder by taking on a proactive consultative role. Onboarding: Ensure that the onboarding of writers adheres to 2X best practices and standards. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance of client content operations to ensure compliance with best practices and high-quality output.

Fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators related to quality, turnaround time, workflow adherence, productivity benchmarks, and client marketing goals:

Quality: Ensuring quality and consistency in content output. New client stabilization: Successful execution of content strategies and adherence to strategy implementation timelines, and seamless deployment of the Run team. Workflow adherence: Collaborate with various functions (Governance, Design, Campaigns, Data, UI/UX, Video, Web, SEO) to meet marketing goals. Use of all required communication platforms on the client team. Client management: Achievement of client-specific KPIs and meeting or exceeding client expectations Client team writer utilization: Ensure proper utilization of writers (mitigate scope creep) Thought leadership: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and develop workshops to help junior writers leverage these trends to stay ahead of the competition. Internal projects/cover as required: Be open to participating in internal projects and/or serve as back-up/cover resource for key clients when needed
