As Content Writer, you will be part of a team that reaches employees in every industry and in every location around the world with messaging about key ethics and compliance topics.  You will be responsible for developing content for our interactive Code of Conduct product.  Good writing skills are a must, but the right candidate is someone who is passionate about bringing fresh, creative ideas to every project and insists on a high level of quality and attention to detail.

As part of the process, candidates will be asked to draft sample copy for a compliance topic. We look forward to seeing your skills in action!

What you’ll do:

Perform all aspects of content development from researching, outlining and concepting to writing, editing and proofreading

Work with subject matter experts to transform complex legal and regulatory language into content that is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to follow

Seek out ways to turn complicated into compelling – developing scenarios, Q&A, interactive exercises and other comprehension aids to enhance learning

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, synthesizing feedback throughout the life of a project to ensure final product is aligned with expectations

Enhance content development processes using AI and machine learning

Develop solutions as part of a team, coming up with the “big ideas,” participating in brainstorming activities and translating that vision into words on a page

Pivot from one project to another, balancing multiple projects against competing timelines

Other tasks as assigned, including special projects, providing guidance to other parts of the organization relating to product, and running special projects relating to development efforts

What you’ll need:

6+ years of professional writing experience

A background in one or more of the following: creative writing, ethics and compliance, instructional design, legal or accessibility

Outstanding proofreading and editing skills

Strong attention to detail, grammatical structure and compliance with AP style guidelines

An ability to write creative copy under tight deadlines and a commitment to on-time delivery

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical and research abilities

An ability to foster strong working relationships with remote team members

A willingness and ability to perform tasks beyond writing

Ability to drive results through your job competencies of collaboration, decision-making and content writing and development

Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instils trust

Every team member is required to have a career plan in place, to be reviewed with their manager after six months in our team.

The starting pay range for this role is $90,000+ per annum.
