Job Title: Contingent Workforce Advisor
Location: Downtown Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid)
Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on expereince)
Position Type: Temporary (Covering leave, 4-5 months)
Position Summary:
Beacon Hill's client in Downtown Saint Paul, MN is seeking an experienced Contingent Workforce Advisor to support their enterprise Contingent Workforce Program. This newly created position will play a key role in managing and improving contingent workforce processes, vendor relations, and system upgrades. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in change management, process administration, data analytics, and vendor management, while providing exceptional support to hiring managers and overseeing day-to-day operations for contingent workers.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Hiring Managers: Advise, educate, and influence hiring managers on a wide range of contingent workforce issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with program policies.Data & Metrics Analysis: Conduct detailed research and analysis on contingent workforce policies, process improvements, vendor performance, and workforce analytics.Vendor Engagement & Management: Oversee vendor partners in sourcing candidates for open positions, serve as a point of contact for both hiring managers and vendors, and negotiate and extend offers.Full Lifecycle Support: Provide hiring managers with end-to-end support for contingent workers, from needs assessment and sourcing approach to off-boarding.Policy & Process Development: Assist in the creation, administration, and ongoing improvement of contingent workforce policies, guidelines, and best practices. Facilitate ongoing training for teams and hiring managers.VMS System Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related, process, or technical issues related to contingent workers and the VNDLY VMS system.Operational Oversight: Manage internal contingent worker resourcing, including assignment lifecycle, utilization, deployment, and serve as a liaison between hiring managers and contingent workers.Program Compliance & Reporting: Ensure program SLAs are met, monitor metrics, and provide operational oversight through detailed reporting and performance analysis.Process & Risk Management: Lead efforts for process improvement and risk mitigation in partnership with procurement and InfoSecurity, particularly in the areas of offshore and travel policy development.Additional Responsibilities:
SOW Auditing: Support the auditing of Statements of Work (SOW) to ensure alignment with company policies and legal standards.VNDLY System Enhancements: Play a key role in the upgrade to Unified Worker Profile Management/Worker Profile 2.0 within the VNDLY system and provide input for module enhancements.Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and process documentation for VNDLY changes and related system updates in collaboration with procurement teams.Reporting & Analysis: Enhance VNDLY reporting, with a potential focus on using Power BI for data visualization and reporting improvements.Job Requisition Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of job requisitions and ensure the timely and efficient filling of open contingent worker positions.Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in VMS management, with a strong background in change management and system upgrades.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations while driving change.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of VMS platforms, and experience with system upgrades, implementations, and process optimizations.Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement solutions for continuous program improvement.Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Problem-Solving: Proactive and strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented approach to complex workforce challenges.Preferred Qualifications:
HR Background: Broader HR expertise, especially in areas such as compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, and contingent workforce management.VMS Experience: Any prior experience with VMS platforms, with a strong preference for VNDLY expertise.Employment Law Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law, including FLSA, employment classification, and independent contractor compliance.Certifications: CCWP (Certified Contingent Workforce Professional) and SOW (Statement of Work) certification are a plusIf you are an experienced contingent workforce professional ready to take on an exciting, challenging role, we'd love to hear from you!
