Continuing Education Program Coordinator
Palmer College of Chiropractic is looking for a Continuing Education Program Coordinator! The Continuing Education (CE) Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the application, submission, and acceptance of state approvals for all live classes, webinars, and online continuing education programs administered by Palmer College or a contracted providership vendor. The Coordinator is also responsible for communicating application and approval status and reporting data for all Palmer CE programs and CE Providerships. The Coordinator assists in planning and working all Palmer Homecomings, webinars, and other live and online events. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to the Director of Continuing Education and has a support responsibility to all other departments and college personnel as necessary. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Prepare, submit, and communicate state approvals for CE courses, programs, and speakers + Maintain a state approval database for continuing education + Learn and be proficient in the College’s CE software and + Maintain accurate and current state approvals in the CE Learning Management System (LMS) + Submit performance reports as directed + Communicate directly with state boards regarding CE applications and approvals + Understand each state’s CE application and approval process and communicate changes as appropriate + Learn and be proficient in state board CE software and databases + Review and communicate changes in state continuing education requirements + Effectively communicate with developers and CE providers to obtain information pertinent to CE applications and approvals + Request and process payments for state applications + Assist in set up and monitoring exhibitor hall at HC for both campuses + Work HC and live events as scheduled (registration desk, speaker and vendor check-in, CE/food monitoring, set up and tear down of events). + Expectation to participate in staff and event meetings to facilitate quality improvements and efficiencies + Webinar monitoring + Work with digital media specialist to ensure emails communicate accurate CE approvals + Assists with creating, maintaining, updating, & communicating event details, calendars, and state approvals for website and other outside communications + Assist with speaker honorariums and travel as needed + Assist with proofreading digital and print materials + Perform all responsibilities in a manner that fully complies with Palmer’s Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action policy + Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree in business or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Two years of experience in data management/analytics. Two years of customer service experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES + Ability to perform assigned duties effectively with frequent interruptions + Ability to utilize general office equipment and other necessary equipment + Ability to work effectively with others. + Ability to communicate effectively and work various hours as job requires + Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Business Intelligence + Perform all responsibilities in a manner that fully complies with Palmer’s Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action policy. + Perform other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT + Performs sedentary to light work in a ventilated, lighted, and temperature-controlled office setting.
