The Continuing Resources Coordinator is responsible for the receipt and organization of all print and electronic continuing resources. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring that the library’s sizable print and electronic continuing resources collection is accurate and accessible to faculty, students, and staff. They assist the Head of Content Acquisitions and Management with analyzing continuing resources policies and procedures and help maintain the integrity of data within the library services platform. Under the supervision of the Head of Content Acquisitions and Management, additional duties include, but are not limited to: + Ensure that serial receiving and collection maintenance operations for print as well as electronic resources are carried out effectively. + Play a significant part in maintaining the integrity and currency of the Law Library collection. + Within the department, serve as an information resource on most matters relating to the receipt of print serials including claiming the missing materials. + Act as the coordinator of functions when needed, where the work carried out by the incumbent helps facilitate research efforts with the Georgetown Law community. Work Interactions This position has no direct reports, but will on occasion field questions from others in the department and the library about issues related to the receipt of newly acquired serials materials and collection maintenance and retention policies. In addition to the departmental interactions, this position interacts with staff throughout the library by serving on library committees and through collaborations on inter-departmental functions. Requirements and Qualifications + High School Diploma + 3-5 years of library experience + Knowledge of standard academic library practices and procedures + Understanding of print & electronic continuing resource functions and library services platforms + Familiarity with spreadsheet, database, and cloud-based document storage applications + Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Requirements and Qualifications + Bachelor's degree + ​Experience with electronic resources management. + Knowledge of law and/or legal materials + Familiarity with the ExLibris Alma library services platform Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as Hybrid. Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $19.20 - $28.70 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
