The Continuous Improvement Principal analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
Major Position Responsibilities Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark dataCollects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost
Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes
May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements
Studies organizational processes and operations and develops quality and efficiency improvements
Evaluates internal processes and identifies opportunities for improvements
Gathers data for key performance indicators for functions being reviewed, evaluates current state and processes future state goals and objectives
Measures results of implemented improvement strategies and modifies continuous improvement programs in response
Assists in the development and delivery of continuous improvement related training programs
Basic Qualifications
