Continuous Improvement Co-Op

If you are a Continuous Improvement Co-Op looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the Pressure Management business based in our Stafford, Texas location, where you will support initiatives aimed at improving cross functional operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall quality within the manufacturing facility. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions that align with the company's goals.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Analyze current manufacturing and plant processes for inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across all functions.  Conceptualize an understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.  Provide support to manufacturing

 For This Role, You Will Need:

Junior-level status, or above, currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or any related engineering field Attention to details Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written Microsoft Suite ​​​​​​ Commitment to full-time (40 hours) Spring Co-Op experience in Stafford, TX from January 2025 through June 2025 No housing will be provided to candidates who are not local to Stafford, TX Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher Experience working in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
