As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will be responsible for coaching and guiding the implementation of the Operational Excellence System (OES) which is a Lean Six Sigma deployment into the WestRock organization. You will be the direct conduit between the tactical/operational and strategic initiatives in the organization. At Smurfit WestRock, we believe in investing in our employees’ growth and development. How will you impact Smurfit Westrock?

Align with strategic objectives for the Division/Region/Plant and Execute OE strategy to accomplish them.Responsible for the training/coaching of belts at the local plant level to achieve savings goalsExecute LSS projects to meet division savings goals.Focus on driving improvements in revenue and driving cost out of the business through more effective processes, elimination of non-value added or duplicate efforts, waste, and other related defects in the process.Train teams to utilize lean six sigma tools and methodology.Provide and share foundational best practices.Ensure alignment to the system across plants.Performs other duties as assigned.


Our requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player with foundational experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean operating systems who can facilitate and drive change in a fast-paced and ever-changing manufacturing environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal, mentoring and influencing skills.Education: 3-year degreeMinimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or Continuous ImprovementFoundational experience in Lean Operating SystemsGreen Belt certification is nice to have but we can also help you to develop your skills and obtain itFluent knowledge of Polish and very good EnglishCoaching and communications skillsStrong leadership abilitiesProfessional maturity - work with all levels
