Continuous Improvement Specialist role leading Kaizen events and Lean process optimization within engineering and certification functions.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or similar continuous improvement certification
Experience with continuous improvement, Lean principles, or process optimization in an office or administrative setting
Experience using CI tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Causal Analysis, 5 Whys, PDCA, SIPOC, etc.
Experience facilitating training sessions or workshops related to process or performance improvement
Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools such as Enovia
Demonstrated success leading process improvement projects with measurable results
Preferred Skills:
Experience driving improvements within engineering or certification functions
Experience developing standardized work procedures, templates, and documentation
Experience creating and maintaining performance dashboards and KPI reports
Experience presenting project outcomes and improvement results to leadership
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate, and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement projects within engineering and certification functions
Conduct root cause analyses to identify inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities
Develop and implement standardized work procedures, templates, and documentation to ensure consistent performance
Monitor and validate the effectiveness of implemented changes and ensure sustainability of improvements
Coach teams on structured problem-solving techniques and support implementation of improvement ideas
Collect and analyze performance metrics to measure improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and workflow performance
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing project outcomes, cost savings, and KPIs
Communicate progress, challenges, and results of Kaizen and CI activities to management and key stakeholders
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
