Position Summary:

We seek a highly creative and driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Continuous Improvement Engineering and Equipment Maintenance team. You will work within a highly dynamic group serving as a resource for implementation, expansion and enhancement of Continuous Improvement Engineering culture within our Organization. You will play a key role in expanding the use of Continuous Improvement methodologies to increase Operational Efficiency .

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Equipment Technicians in lean philosophies to complete scheduled maintenance and enable an environment that identifies and eliminates barriers Identify improvements in current processes for Preventative Maintenance, Calibrations, Emergency Maintenance. Analyze, recommend and implement process improvements to manufacturing processes, with focus on work flow sequencing, automation techniques and equipment reliability improvements. Troubleshooting defects and variation, performing root cause analysis, applying systematic problem-solving techniques, and implementing sustainable solutions. Coordinate with internal staff and external vendors to design, refine and implement automation solutions. Coordinate with our Quality team to design and implement IQ/OQ/PQ and validation protocols. Execute and coordinate validations in compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements. Assist in creating business cases and justification for capital expenditures and obtain necessary internal approvals. Participate and manage multiple projects simultaneously to keep projects on track and timeline for completion. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning automated alternatives to existing processes supporting products across the Bio-techne portfolio.  Build and maintain effective collaborations with Operations, Process Engineering, Development, Quality Assurance and Quality Control groups.
