Continuous Improvement Engineer
Job Description

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be pivotal in executing plant projects aimed at eliminating waste through meticulous data gathering, fostering employee engagement, and promoting innovative problem-solving. This includes improving accessibility, product quality, and employee safety while also reducing conversion costs. You will report to the Lean and Quality Manager and work collaboratively with various functional departments to prioritize and implement improvement projects. Your responsibilities will also include leading various Lean activities, developing and monitoring the Continuous Improvement Roadmap, and implementing Lean training programs.

Hard SkillsDegree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering; Production/Operations Management, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years manufacturing/operations experienceKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and advanced problem-solving techniquesProficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing operation systemsExperience with MRP systems and Inventory ManagementSoft SkillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to engage and educate team membersEffective communication and collaboration across departmentsWork Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greensboro, North Carolina.
