Your day as a Continuous Improvement Engineer 

The main responsibility of this position is capacity planning, studying, and analyzing or identifying opportunities in the production process and equipment development for excellence in process and quality.

To do so, you will be in charge of:
■ Doing time & motion studies to improve standard time and reduce labor cost.
■ Initiating, leading and executing continuous improvement projects and providing problem-solving technical support processes to improve areas of quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction, working process and operating system through Kaizen with CI methodology, tools, and practices.
■ Use VSM tools to analyze NVA and lead time then improve.
■ Designs, modifies, improves, and support solution to new model process, Jig, tooling, and fixture for better working conditions.
■ Response to set up an activity to support new project launch in order to improve productivity, performance and capacity and coordinate with concerned parties to get the line set up as required by the master schedule.
■ To facilitate in-house training on CI tools and methodologies for employees.
■ Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, and benchmarking, to ensure that group culture and policies are deployed within the plant.
■ Support and be responsible for urgent cases at production for problem-solving and long-term improvement.

 

What do we ask from you?
Required Qualifications

■ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineer
■ At least 3 years of experience in the field of Lean Engineer, Process Engineer, or CI Engineer from Multinational Companies.
■ Good command of English, ability to communicate effectively
■ Commitment to Lean and Kaizen principles
■ Solid knowledge of production technologies, continuous improvement tools (SPC, 5S, Kaizen, etc.), or project management.
■ Understand engineering drawing
■ Microsoft Office and AutoCAD skills are a must
■ Excellent negotiation and Problem-solving skills.
■ Energetic and able to manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate multiple, changes.
■ Strong project management skills.
■ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization

Preferable qualifications
■ Technical knowledge of Statistical Process Control and/or troubleshooting is preferable.

■ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
■ Gained TOEIC score above 700 or a similar English proficiency test result is preferable.
