Due to an internal promotion, CertainTeed Insulation has an excellent career opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer.

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is the primary leader responsible for driving and managing continuous improvement initiatives across the insulation manufacturing facility. This role focuses on enhancing people involvement, productivity, reducing costs, improving quality, and ensuring safety through strategic planning.

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible of using key tools from the methodologies as World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and other continuous improvement techniques.

As the dedicated CI engineer in the plant, this position will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement to achieve the World Class Level Key Performance Indicators expected for the Insulation business.

Key job aspects include:

Support the application of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and other CI methods to reduce costs and improve safety, quality, productivity, and other key performance metrics Facilitate planning of WCM initiatives to meet business Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Must-Win Battles (MWB’s) Collect and analyze data to understand operational losses and define opportunities for improvement Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to execute site improvement plan to achieve budgeted performance metrics and cost reductions Implement guidelines, standards and tools to support a uniform approach to continuous improvement across the plant
