Support the strategic implementation of the MillerKnoll Performance System (MKPS) in Operations or Business Areas. Coach, teach and mentor team members and leaders on HMPS concepts and application.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coach, teach and mentor on HMPS tools and philosophies; consult on all modules of HMPS.Consult with employees outside at different Herman Miller sites other than assigned location as needed.Create, update and follow a coaching plan to develop Work Team Leaders and facilitators; develop training modules.Develop HMPS plans for department and assist in the development of HMPS plans for specific locations.Develop 'macro' plan on how to move entire business unit ahead, not just the area impacted by improvements.Evaluate new product or processes for improvement.Implement continuous improvement with assigned manufacturing operation or business area.Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.Take appropriate preventative actions to insure safety and quality.Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or 10-15 years applicable work experience. 3-5 years HMPS experience.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Demonstrated understanding and command of HMPS theories and concepts.Proven consultative skills; ability to teach others and exhibits an eagerness to learn.Successful project leadership experience.Proven leadership experience û must have 1-3 years as a work team leader or change leader. Proven ability to plan, develop, and deliver presentations and training.Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment.Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
