What you’ll do:

Identify, prioritize, and manage multiple improvement projects.Coordinate area projects with site 5S leader and Kaizen/lean events with facilitators.Track all TPM and savings projects in the Project Management Tool when appropriate.Support the Plant Manager in preparation of Plant related TPM audits.Support and drive implementation of Loss Analysis and TPM.Assist in implementing rapid change; be a hands-on team member through change process.Work closely with the pillar leaders, management staff and co-workers to ensure establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of plant-wide TPM goals.Collect data and ensuring accuracy of all Loss Tree Data.Develop and conduct regular audits.Determine root cause of failure using statistical methods and recommend changes in design, tolerances or processing methods.

What you'll need:

Experience in a continuous improvement function.Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science or Business and prior experience in a production, or manufacturing environment.Experience in Lean or Lean Six Sigma preferred.IT literate with a good level of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Knowledge of the chemical sciences would be beneficial.SAP experience preferred, preferably in the purchasing function.Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.Be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work with the minimum supervision, whilst at the same time being a strong team player.Negotiation and Influencing skills.Willing to take ownership of challenging situations and issues and drive effective closure.

Working Conditions:

Position operates in an environment in which there may be temperature extremes and exposure to weather, excessive noise and vibrations, moving mechanical parts, electric shock, hazardous chemicals, gases, odors, hot liquids or equipment.  May work in high, low or confined spaces.

Physical requirements:

Position requires lifting/pushing/carrying up to 50 pounds chest high. 

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
