The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $154000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:This position is responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by leading continuous improvement /cost out initiatives across the plant. This role will be the champion for the site driving the EBS (Eaton Business System)/ECIS. Additional responsibility includes executing the organization’s strategic plan consistent with federal, state, and local regulations, established industry standards, and customer requirements. The candidate needs to be able to think outside the box, passionate, people centric person/leader, encompassing lean principles, day in and day out, and be a hands-on working Manager.
In this role you will:
Manage for success (2) CI Analysts and (3) CI Technicians.Implement and lead Lean Manufacturing concepts and Lean tools throughout the enterprise, including Value Stream Mapping, structured problem solving, root cause analysis, 5s+, Standard Work, etc.Lead operational improvement events (kaizen, Gemba walks, rapid improvement events, process improvement, basic problem solving (A3), etc.) with multi-functional teams from concept to implementation.Achieve facility wide cost out targets through improvement projects, waste reduction, best practice sharing/implementation, holding project leaders accountable to deliver, and other programs.Evaluate, analyze and improve operations and engineering processes using fundamentally sound manufacturing principles to ensure excellence in safety, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and quality.Foster a continuous improvement culture throughout the business by creating, leading and communicating opportunities for quality, productivity, flow and safety improvement.Identifies potential safety hazards and provides input into the remediation process, ensuring equipment functionality meets required specifications. Enforces safety expectations, documents and communicates hazards and unsafe conditions, conducts training to team members on safety regulations and methods.Perform root cause and failure analysis for resolution of production detractors. Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide specified cost, quality, and performance in a safe and efficient manner. Collaborates with others in critical thinking and problem-solving activities.Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Ten (10) years of experience in applying continuous improvement initiatives. Lean Six Sigma Certification. One (1) year of supervisor experience.Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EBS/ECIS.Seven (7) years of manufacturing experience applying continuous improvement initiatives. Detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques – i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, 5S, Standard work, visual controls, daily accountability, process checks, etc. Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc. Proficiency in various software applications – i.e. SAP, MS Office suite, MiniTab, Power BI Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001, etc).Thorough understanding of production environments (low-volume/high mix and high volume/low mix) including safety/guarding requirements.
