Job Summary:

At Trane Technologies, we challenge possible. Our Lean Operational Excellence Program Manager is crucial in driving our mission by managing and executing Lean Excellence projects. This role focuses on meeting project goals, communicating effectively with sponsors and stakeholders, and leading the planning, implementation, and introduction of new procedures, systems, and technologies. You will be key in planning and executing multiple complex projects, using your strong communication skills to bring different stakeholders together. You will be responsible for setting up project governance, defining communication methods, managing risks, and getting leadership support, all while using standard processes and tools.

Where is the work: 

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do:

Project Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and implementation of projects within timelines and budgets. Coordinate project and procedural enhancements. Manage project budget and resource allocation, identifying potential cost savings. Generate reports to support management in assessing productivity and efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Ensure project commitments are met through effective communication with sponsors and stakeholders. Maintain continuity between groups by participating in work sessions, design walkthroughs, and status meetings. Align diverse stakeholders and secure leadership support using strong communication skills. Training and Education: Provide education and training on complex system changes. Offer training and documentation to staff regarding project status, procedures, and changes. Guide and educate less experienced staff on new policies and procedures. Process Improvement: Analyze and improve processes to ensure accuracy and quality. Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency. Lead development teams, train staff, and establish monitoring processes for sustained changes. Risk Management: Manage business milestones, identify and escalate at-risk milestones, and drive remediation. Employ standardized processes and tools to manage risks and ensure project goals are met.

What you will bring: 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, focusing on Lean methodologies and operational excellence. Proven track record in leading complex projects and programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and mentor less experienced staff. Preferred Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Work Environment: This position may require occasional travel. The role may involve working in various environments, including office settings and production facilities.

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $115,000 - $140,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
