Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the role:

 

The Continuous Improvement Specialist supports the development and direction of the Continuous Improvement strategy related to the GO4ZERO vision (0 accidents, 0 defects, 0 delays, 0 impact, 0 Emissions) at OSCO EMEA. Works with Managers and Leaders in implementing productivity projects, mentors and coaches in joint implementation of improvements in line with the GO4ZERO program and BCOS project. Develops organizational maturity through training related to Lean Six Sigma for shift leaders level, and effectively implements tools such as: 5S, 5why, VSM, KATA, Kaizen, PDCA. He has a highly developed ability to influence others, he/she is part of a large CI department consisting of Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Digitization Engineers, he/she reports directly to the CI Manager.

This role is needed due to many CI projects and initiatives specially related with OEE increasing, new processes introduced on the shopfloor: Smart Factory, Team Board, BCOS, Gemba Walk.
 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

POKA administrator Problem solving expert  Facilitation in Suggestion system program Barryskop SOPa coordinator (new standard deployment combined with Centerlines) Facilitating Gemba Walks with key stakeholders  5S support in implementation  Conducts projects related to group strategy, trains project members in DMAIC methodology Conducts training in Problem Solving methodology based on a prepared training structure Increases the skills of employees by eliminating human factors and thus improves processes Conducts regular profit and loss reviews based on the financial results of the factory With his/her knowledge, he/she contributes to increasing the awareness and effectiveness of the implemented Lean tools in production: 5S, Kanban, POKA Yoke Translates financial results into effective stock
 

 

About you:

 

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar position (e.g. in the area of continuous improvement, process management, production, quality management, etc.) Experience working with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) Knowledge of the industry in which the company operates can be a significant asset Knowledge of statistical tools and data analysis software (e.g. Minitab, Excel, Tableau) Experience in process mapping and change management English on a communicative level
