The role
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will establish ways to improve timescales, quality and cost for the defence programme team within Cavendish Nuclear, whilst positively impacting environment, social and governance standards.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll collect and collate LFEs (learning from experiences) and chair meetings with project teams in relation to these.

Trend analysis around continuous improvement events. Establishing continuous improvement pathways in response to any LFEs gathered. Creating and maintaining LFE and continuous improvement findings reports to be presented to senior leadership. Keeping up to date on current industry initiatives for continuous improvement and present them to the business where suitable.

 

Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, provides hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office and the remaining from home and can be based in Bristol Business Park, Newbury Business Park, or Warrington, Cheshire.

 

Essential experience of the Continuous Improvement Specialist:

Previous experience working in a continuous improvement role within a regulated industry. Previous experience working with LFEs. Experience working with project teams in relation to continuous improvement practices. Demonstrated experience of improving processes.

 

Qualifications for the Continuous Improvement Specialist:

Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt or willing to work towards it.
 

Security Clearance
