Your role and responsibilitiesYou will be mainly accountable for:•Monitoring of Business KPI.s creating improvement opportunities •Tracking of programs, initiatives, projects, and key performance indicators (KPIs) •Driving significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and/or cost targets and fulfillment of commitments to customers and stakeholders in collaboration with local management. •Guiding the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction using the appropriate problem-solving methodologies, involving all stake holders like production, supplier quality, engineering & R&D •Leading the implementation of lean foundations such as 5S and other lean practices such as TPM, JIT, Value stream maps and lean logistics. •Removing barriers to the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level in consultation with relevant stakeholders, •Providing support in cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering or similar field. Sound knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Minitab are an asset Preferred experience in Power fields Experience using 8D/Problem solving methodologies Proven track record in applying Lean and L6S methodologies Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo” High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality Ability to determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures
