Comprehensive Compensation Package:
Pay Rate: $26.50-$33.00/hr - Depending On Experience
Job Description:
Read and Interpret Engineering models and drawings, dimensioning and tolerancing.Experience and knowledge of capabilities and processes of all machining good practice.Measuring metrology (use and calibration of measuring instruments)Experience and knowledge of Set-up and operation of manual lathes, mills, grinders.

Conduct detailed time studies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to understand current workflows and identify bottlenecks.Use Lean Six Sigma techniques (e.g., DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen) to develop improvement plans.Collaborate with department leaders to implement process changes that increase efficiency and reduce waste.Project Management
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception through completion.Monitor project milestones and ensure alignment with manufacturing goals and timelines.Document progress, changes, and improvements, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Employee Training and Development
Conduct hands-on training and workshops on Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and process improvements.Develop training materials and resources to support ongoing employee development in continuous improvement.Mentor and coach team members to foster an environment of ownership and proactive problem-solving.Continuous Improvement Culture
Act as a champion for continuous improvement, encouraging team members at all levels to participate in process enhancements.Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices in manufacturing and continuous improvement.Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular engagement with employees, workshops, and team meetings. QualificationsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and time-study methodologies.Proven experience in leading and managing projects focused on process improvement.Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to train and influence teams.
