Missions 

His/her mission is to analyse the plant/ business P&L and to ensure the follow-up of the industrial performances (direct labor productivity, price variances, fixed costs analysis. He/she is in charge of analysing and improving the Working Capital turns together with the plant manager and the supply chain manager. He/she is responsible, with the support of the Shared Service Center, of the balance sheet accounts accuracy. He/she is responsible of the consistency of the forecasts and budget construction for the site and helps the plant manager and the business to identify corrective actions. He/she participates to S&OP meetings of the entity, makes the link between objectives, action plans, available resources and their financial impact. He/she is in charge of preparing the transfer prices documentations. In this role he/she will be a key-user supporting end-users with the local applications.

 

Roles 

Business performing and partnering Be part of the Donchery management team. Provide support and guidance in building and implementing performance action plans for the site. Ensure adequate tracking to assess impacts of actions plans on financial results. Initiate/attend meetings with business owners (production, supply chain, technical, …) on a regular basis to follow-up events occurring in the field. Update business plan for significant investments. Continuously look for and identify cost reduction opportunities and levers to improve industrial performance and cash generation at plant and business level. Finance Organizations Management Coordinate with the external shared service centers for the bookkeeping and legal (tax, VAT) topics. Forecasting and planning Coordinate the annual budget construction and the monthly forecast of the site and business and provide detailed analysis. Alert on risks and identify opportunities to mitigate. Record to report Provide accurate, timely and transparent reporting on results & KPIs (budget, actual, forecast) for the plant (financial & operational reporting). Control and manage the monthly closing process and reporting. Ensure accruals are adequate. Validate manual entries with an impact on P&L and balance sheet. Justify the site’s balance sheet accounts (especially inventory closing balance and fixed assets). Coordinate the product costing process and control related master data. Internal Control Enforce group and entity financial procedures and translate Nexans procedures at local level. Foster internal control in all functions. Ensure periodic stocktakes are properly conducted and control inventory adjustments. Business Applications Key User Understand all information process of the plants and train new users. Analyse and define all requests and need from business, processes and individual users. Translate ERP (Glovia) updates into user friendly language and train users in the application.
