About the Role
Responsible for the administration and governance of all contracts related matters.Oversee the administration and governance of the procurement process.
Contract Administration and Review (40%)
Ensure the organization's contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
Maintain accurate and up to date registers of all contracts.
Provide advice and guidance to the various teams relating to contract preparation and management.
Work with the various teams to draft, edit and review all contracts.
Review contracts from an operational perspective before they are finalized for signing.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
Manage the review and approval of contracts with the Legal team.
Arrange for the execution of the contracts and their stamping, as required.
Monitor and advise on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the templates and make recommendations for improvements.
Procurement Administration (40%)
Manage and oversee the purchase of goods and services by the various teams.
Streamline the acquisition of goods and services for the company.
Ensure that all purchases adhere to the company’s procurement policies and procedures and budgetary constraints.
Provide training to the various teams on the procurement process, policies and procedures.
Monitor supplier performance by coordinating with the various teams to gather and evaluate their feedback on performance.
Ensure continuous improvements in supplier performance and adherence to agreed standards.
Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Others (20%)
To provide assistance to Head of Finance in communicating business, contract and procurement issues.
Conduct regular audits of contracts and procurement processes to identify areas of improvements.
Handle any ad-hoc contract administration and procurement administration tasks and assignments as and when requested by management.
Any other duties as required or assigned.
Experience & Qualification:
Possess at least 8 years working experience in a similar role.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Management/Administration or equivalent
Strong fundamental knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
Well versed in the areas of contract management, law and procurement.
