Contract Administration Specialist
Overview This position is primarily responsible for supporting activities in the Commercial Services department. Performs assignments related to Subcontractor and Vendor agreements, pre-qualification, and subcontractor compliance necessary to meet operational/business objectives. The Commercial Services assistant will interface with internal and external customers, subcontractor and vendor contacts while working closely with the project teams. Responsibilities Gather required documents from potential contractors and subcontractors, including licenses, certifications, insurance policies, financial statements, and safety records.to begin the pre-qualification process. Enter and maintain accurate information in pre-qualification databases or software systems. Correspond with vendors regarding missing documents, clarification requests, and status updates throughout the pre-qualification process Collaborate with project teams to expedite the pre-qualification process and meet project timelines. Track subcontractors’ workers compensation policy costs for all Puerto Rico projects to ensure requirements are meet. Acquiring proper Insurance information from subcontractors and vendors. Assist Commercial Services in miscellaneous administrative duties.
