Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Contract Administrator to support payroll, accounting, and other administrative functions for its Denver 583 operations based in Aurora, CO.  

 

Our Administrators play a vital role in ensuring payroll accuracy and cost tracking on construction projects, aligning with contract terms and regulatory compliance.

 

Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Assist in accurate and timely payroll processing, verifying hours worked, rates, and any project-specific wage requirements Maintain detailed records for payroll and accounting transactions; assist with reporting as needed Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable Perform routine data entry with a high level of accuracy Manage the reception area, including greeting visitors, and directing foot traffic as needed Respond to incoming calls with excellent customer service, routing and/or relaying information to the appropriate parties in a timely manner Assist with facilitation of new hire orientation Process travel and expense requests Assist in customer billing and collection of past due accounts Assist in contract management and provide support to Branch Manager, Project Managers and Estimators as needed 

 

This position is full-time and pays $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. 

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office administration role with payroll-processing or accounting duties

Must have experience with high-volume, accurate data entry in a professional setting

Demonstrates a proactive approach with the ability to multitask or pivot between tasks, as needed

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills

Showcases robust customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to create strong relationships

Exhibits strong organization skills and attention to detail

Employs critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Maintains accountability for completing work according to established deadlines

Must be adaptable and willing to support various administrative functions

Displays eagerness to acquire new skills and implement them quickly and effectively

Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong sense of professionalism

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working in the construction industry is preferred

Local to the Denver metro area
