Contract Administrator

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Contract Administrator to join our amazing culture. In the role, you will be responsible for providing support for the corporate legal department and local leadership by reviewing contracts/agreements for the region support, providing relevant revisions to the Terms and Conditions to the Customer (legal drafting), and negotiating and finalizing the agreements. Ensures documents are in their final form and has them signed on behalf of Convergint. Interfaces daily with the sales team. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

 Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.  Ensures contract compliance and accuracy for a variety of contracts and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).   Evaluates handoffs to determine if they remain with the RCA or are forwarded to legal counsel based on criteria provided by legal department.   Typically, contracts valued under $100,000 will be reviewed locally.   Existing agreements with previously approved language will also be reviewed locally.   Examples of additional agreements managed locally are Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s), vendor SDK with reference to intellectual property and Letters of Intent.   Contacts the customer, maintains a strong working relationship with the customer contact and their legal representation.   Owns and drives the process of ensuring that internal approvals are received for Scope of Work as presented in the contract; amends / modifies the contract to meet corporate requirements.  Ensures clear and concise contract language in order to avoid problems later in the process (e.g. project scope slippage).   Ensures receipt of fully executed documents and confirms that file folders are complete and organized. Once contract has been finalized, uploads final documents to company repository.   Administers and manages current and new contracts, modifications, updates (adding services and products), and periodic reporting.   Interfaces on a daily basis with Account Executives (Sales), Senior Management and the corporate office.  Provides updates on contract status when available.   Drives the completion of PreQual documentation when necessary; assists with RFP requirements.   Manages the OCIP enrollment process, acts as liaison with corporate office for reporting.  Assists Operations Administrator with managing monthly reporting process.   Manages Certificate of Insurance requests for the region; interacts with the broker/corporate office as needed.   Acts as liaison with Convergint legal counsel for the Region; tracks status of negotiations.   Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. 

 

What You’ll Need

Strong planning and organizational skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.  Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.  Customer service and detail-oriented.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Education: (but not required): Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience: 5 years of contract administration, proposal development or related experience
