Contract Administrator
Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Administers and manages contracts for the State of Iowa’s Office of the Chief Information Officer, conducts negotiations, and plays an integral role in proposal preparations.  Prepares contracts for OCIO.  Acts as an advisor regarding specific OCIO contract terms, specifications, and regulations.  Disseminates information regarding contract status and modifications with OCIO leadership.  Interacts with vendors to negotiate contract terms and conditions on behalf of the OCIO.  Prepares RFP, RFI, RFB, ITQ and other procurement documents.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Performs tasks with increasing complexity and tasks requiring detailed analysis and research.  Creativity and independent decision making is required.  Reports to OCIO Business Services Division Administrator.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS5 years relevant experience or bachelor's degree in business or related field plus 2 years relevant experience or post-graduate degree in related field (JD, MBA, ect).
