Be our next Contract Administrator!
EXP is currently on the lookout for a talented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic Transportation team. This role is available at either our Markham, ON or Calgary, AB offices, offering flexibility based on your location and preference. As a Contract Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work directly under the guidance of our Commercial Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient contract management processes. You will also engage and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong professional relationships and contributing to the success of our projects.

What your experience looks like
Proficiency and broad experience in the formation and administration of contracts through the various steps of bidder prequalification, compilation of bid requests, receipt of bids, bid evaluation, award, monitoring the performance of contractors, back-charge procedures, resolution of claims and disputes, and other such related steps. 5 plus years of contract administration experience is required. Experience formulating and administering complex construction industry (sub)contracts. Extensive knowledge and experience in (sub)contract administration required. Experience in developing complex contract types, fee arrangements, terms, and conditions. Working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution. Knowledge of law, commercial negotiations, accounting, and cost engineering gained through education or experience. Skilled in working with and communicating effectively with supervisors of other project functional groups, primarily Engineering, Construction, Project Management, client, and other services. US Project contracting, and execution experience preferred including Davis Bacon Act and Project Labor Agreement governed work.EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
