Job Title: Contract Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to effectively negotiate service agreements using best practice guidelines and consult with end-user departments to identify relevant business terms that optimize contracts and outcomes. The role involves facilitating bid processes with the supply chain coordinator and departments for any service contract renewals, including planning, scheduling, and document creation for all RFP-related activities. The Contract Specialist will manage renewal notices for all service contracts, ensuring department input is included during contract renewals or termination, and provide consultative and liaison services to internal customers.

ResponsibilitiesNegotiate service agreements using best practice guidelines.Consult with end-user departments to identify relevant business terms for contract optimization.Facilitate bid processes for service contract renewals, including planning, scheduling, and document creation.Manage renewal notices for all service contracts and incorporate department input during renewals or termination.Provide consultative and liaison services to internal customers, educating, informing, training, and assisting them with contractual needs.Essential SkillsProficiency in contract negotiation and redlining.Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience.Minimum of three years experience in contracting, purchasing, legal, or related field.Prior experience in supply chain or purchasing.Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) analytical tools and contracts.Understanding of regulatory terms, HIPAA terminology, and general legal terms and conditions.Ability to collect, interpret, communicate, and present information clearly and concisely.Attention to detail, especially in reading contracts and understanding legal terms.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong analytical and communication skills.Capability to verify attention to detail through situational questions.Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Work Environment

This position is fully remote, with the company providing necessary equipment for your role. The Contracts team currently consists of two Contracts Analysts, with plans to hire one more. Flexible working hours are available, with most team members working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr.
