Contract Analyst
Job Title: Contract SpecialistJob Description We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team. This role involves negotiating service agreements, managing contract renewals, and providing consultative services to internal customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting, purchasing, and legal fields, with the ability to effectively communicate and interpret contractual information. Responsibilities + Negotiate service agreements using best practice guidelines. + Consult with end-user departments to identify relevant business terms to optimize contracts and outcomes. + Facilitate bid processes with the supply chain coordinator and departments for any service contract renewals, including planning, scheduling, and document creation for all RFP-related activities. + Manage renewal notices for all service contracts and ensure that department input is included during contract renewals or terminations. + Provide consultative and liaison services to internal customers, educating, informing, training, and assisting them with contractual needs. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. + Minimum of three years of experience in contracting, purchasing, legal, or related field. + Prior supply chain or purchasing experience. + Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) analytical tools and contracts. + Knowledge of regulatory terms, HIPAA terminology, and general legal terms and conditions. + Skilled in collecting, interpreting, communicating, and presenting information clearly and concisely. + Proficiency in reading contracts, understanding legal terms, and redlining contracts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment You will work with a Contracts team currently consisting of two Contracts Analysts, with an additional hire in progress. This position is 100% remote, and equipment will be provided. The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility, as most of the team works from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
