Job Description Oversee the development, implementation, and management of contract governance policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all contracts comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Review and manage contracts to mitigate risk and ensure favorable terms.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure understanding and adherence to contract terms.

Provide training and guidance on contract management best practices.

Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.

Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.

Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Manages formal communications and correspondence with customers.

Manages contract changes.  

Mitigates risk through review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions to ensure protection of company interests; assists proposal team with balancing risks and opportunities for new programs.

Examines estimates of material, labor, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bacherlor's degree in any related field of study
