Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Contract Conformance Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Conformance Specialist, you will be part of the project management department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive problem-solving approach which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Contract Conformance Specialist
**Location:** Calgary, Edmonton or Toronto
**Job Description:**
+ Manage the flow of documentation and communication related to contractual relationships to ensure obligations are met.
+ Facilitate the preparation of contract exhibits, including scope, specifications, pricing, and special instructions.
+ Support project management in contractor contract negotiations during the bidding and formation phases.
+ Review documents submitted by contractors for compliance and notify them of any deviations.
+ Coordinate contract close-out with project teams to ensure compliance with related contracts.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
+ Strong understanding of contracting processes and issues related to energy industry construction projects.
+ Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships with various departments.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office computer applications.
