Contract Governance Lead
Contract governance is a critical role for the organization as they direct and oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle. Serving as the liaison between companies, employees, customers, vendors, and independent contractors means contract managers serve as the main facilitators for negotiations, recommendations, record keeping, monitoring, change management, and more . In this role, you will be responsible for managing one of the largest supplier relationships in the Professional Services category servicing stakeholders throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Management of contract lifecycle from negotiation, monitoring and close out.
+ Serve as single point of contact for contract administration and questions from stakeholders
+ Responsible for execution of contract change process
+ Writing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contract documents covering a range of services
+ Creating and maintaining relationships with supplier (strategic partner) and business partner
+ Maintaining correspondence and documentation related to contracts
+ Communicating and presenting information to stakeholders regarding contracts
+ Monitoring contracts deliverables and acceptance
+ Problem-solving contract-related issues
+ Developing and implementing procedures and policies where needed
Requirements
+ Experience in vendor management, program management, and strategic sourcing
+ Experience managing business process outsourcing arrangements a plus
+ Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
+ Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
+ Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle
+ Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
+ Superior reading, writing and language skills
+ Excellent understanding of the business or industry, its services, customers and provider
