We are looking for a Vendor and Contracts Analyst to join Manlife's Procurement COE to support Global Data Technology team. The incumbent brings analytical thinking and a desire to learn & enable the execution of how data technology is enabling the transformation at Manulife. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys change, adapts quickly and able to navigate independently through complex processes. The position will be hybrid and work shift that aligns with North American ET team.
Reporting to Procurement Manager, you’ll join a nimble team of dedicated, engaged and high performing professionals focused on working together, challenging the status quo and owning our future. This role will support the delivery of Global Data’s strategy objectives and will be a key member Global Data Strategy, Planning, and Business Management tea

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Global Data Technology (GDT) portfolio of contracts, including defining and operating a sustainable contracts renewal process
Support annual software renewals, forecasting, invoicing, and purchase orders
Support the appropriate procurement activity to submit intake request post triage
Support invoice approval process for GD leveraging existing tools and shared services at Manulife
Develops and maintains procedure documentation for the vendor management processes
Work with Software Support teams and key stakeholders to own and maintain software platform user lists
Create, own, and maintain software chargeback models to provide finance cost allocations monthly
Prepare related reporting and analysis as needed, including active software contracts, licensing reviews and spend analysis
Support the governance model with relation to vendor engagement and software contracts
Coordinate vendor meetings and events as needed
Conduct data analytics on vendor spend and identify optimization opportunities

2+ years of experience with contract terms and their legal implications and vendor performance metrics
An interest in vendor management leading practices and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knows basic formulas
An interest in how technology supports Manulife's strategy
Strong detail orientation
An interest in working with numbers and creating reusable templates
Comfortable drafting and sending communications to large audiences
Awareness of data and cloud technology stack
Understands cross team structures, team cultures, cooperation & information sharing within the company
Some understanding of internal processes and how to manage to expedite outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills preferred

Able to work across teams to drive best outcomes
