Responsible for % of cost reductions based on contract portfolio and % of cost avoidance based on system capital purchases. Negotiate contracts; capital equipment purchases; service contracts (including bids, RFPs, and cost analysis for equipment and services while monitoring purchasing patterns for potential cost reduction opportunities. Experience:
Five years purchasing and contract management experience required including experience with hospital materials management information systems, required.
Competence in the development of spreadsheets required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or 5 years’ experience in capital purchase negotiation and contract review; 3 years project management experience
