Contract Manager - Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager/Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement team. The contract manager/procurement analyst is responsible for managing the procurement process, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. This role involves analyzing procurement needs, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing supply chain operations while mitigating risk. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts payable operations and a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 (D365).

YOUR IMPACT:

Contract Management:

 Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, and service providers. Ensure contracts are legally sound, comply with company policies, and align with business objectives.Manage the execution and performance of contracts, ensuring that deliverables are met, and service levels are maintained.Identify and mitigate risks related to contract terms, deadlines, and vendor performance

Procurement Analysis:

 Handle current contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships. Conduct market research and vendor analysis to identify potential vendors, compare pricing, and evaluate vendor performance. Analyze procurement data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing of goods and services. Track procurement budgets and monitor spending to ensure compliance with financial objectives.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management: 

Establish and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to understand business requirements and provide support for purchasing decisions.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.Ensure procurement processes and contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.Monitor performance of contracts and resolve disputes or issues with vendors promptly.Track contract expiration dates and manage renewals or terminations as necessary.

Reporting & Documentation:

 Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, ensuring easy access to contracts, purchase orders, and other related documents.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, contract statuses, and savings achieved for senior management.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or related field. Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or related roles (typically 3-5 years).  Familiarity with contract law, negotiation strategies, and procurement best practices. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Experience working in the insurance industry helpful but not required.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
