Contract Manager / Procurement

Summary:

The Procurement Contract Manager (PCM) provides contract and overall procurement process expertise and facilitates coordination between Procurement, suppliers, Office of General Counsel, internal partners, and shared service support arrangement for a subsidiary.  The PCM ensures that contracts are executed efficiently and accurately, are maintained effectively and that risk is mitigated in all respects.  

Responsibilities:
  Leverage procurement and finance knowledge to support stakeholders with the procurement process and supplier relationships. Ensure contracts, SOW’s, NDA’s, etc. are well executed and maintained. Facilitate contract life-cycle management including renewals, terminations, and amendments.   Collaborate with internal partners to provide guidance and support for excellence in procurement and contracting.  Supplier negotiations.   Build and maintain a comprehensive template library. Manage & optimize the contract life-cycle management platform.    Collaborate with the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management.   Train staff and monitor compliance.   Assist with Procurement Operations and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.  
Qualifications:
  Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.  Minimum of three years of experience in procurement. Demonstrated skills in oversight of commercial contracts and legal agreements. Proficient in Microsoft Suite required.  Contract Lifecycle Management software and ERP experience a plus.  Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and multi-task effectively in a dynamic and complex work environment.  Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate, negotiate, educate, and collaborate.  Demonstrated analytical skills including a high degree of detail orientation.    Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.   Candidates should be eager to engage with students.
