Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen at our brand new site in Harworth. The Contract Operations Manager is a senior managerial position with responsibility for delivering and developing the customer contract and ensuring that strategies and business plans are in place to achieve targets and drive business performance and growth to benefit both the business and customer. To be successful in this role you must be customer centric and able to work well under pressure whilst motivating the team.
What will you be doing?
Ensuring all day to day operational requirements consistently meet the customers’ expectationsExceeding customer key performance measures, holding regular customer reviews and managing and developing client relationshipsResponsible for managing and developing the existing management teams and employee relationsDeveloping and implementing new initiatives and projects with the customerPromote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver best in class operationsPreparing customer annual budgets and working within those financial boundaries whilst delivering improved financial performanceAssume responsibility for managing Health & Safety, Personnel issues and Facilities across all sitesQualificationsIdeally educated to degree level and with a proven track record within the 3rd Party warehousing and logistics sector you will possess above average enthusiasm and commitmentA demonstrable track record in managing high volume, service driven warehouse operations for FMCG CustomersTrack record of working closely with customers and able to illustrate examples of how they have improved the relationshipsExcellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels, shop floor, senior management and customerShould be a successful leader of teams, have positive personal qualities and attributesMust possess enthusiasm, drive and commitment, a creative thinker and the ability work outside the box at times, requiredExperience of Open and Closed book contracts, good numerical and commercial skills are essentialAdditional InformationAs part of our drive to make Great Bear a great place to work.
