Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Description Assesses, analyzes, and negotiates payer contracts for all hospital and professional entities within Emory Healthcare (EHC). Manages information for loading and maintaining payer contracts in EHC decision support systems. Implements new contracts, amendments, and business process modifications. Utilizes Emory Healthcare's decision support systems and other tools to perform financial analysis of hospital, physician and ancillary rates and other ad hoc financial analysis. Serves as managed care liaison for assigned Emory Healthcare operational areas and contracted organizations. Manages relationships with assigned managed care organizations including monitoring contract performance, compliance and maintenance. Resolves operational issues to maximize contract performance/revenue.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Three of healthcare experience, preferably in managed care. Knowledge of various personal computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management applications.
