Job SummaryThe Contract Resource Coordinator provides leadership (coordination, direction, quality assurance, etc.) for work activities performed by contract resources. This includes providing field oversight and job coordination for contract resources while at the facility. The CRC is responsible for addressing and clearing barriers in the workplace ensuring event free execution of projects.

Project Planning and Development
Safety / Environmental and Regulatory Compliance
Monitor and ensure contractor compliance with the Contract Supplemental.Perform field observations of work activities and document them in the Observation Database. Observations should be behavioral in nature and feedback should be given once the observation is complete.Be trained and maintain qualification as a Lock Out/Tag Out Work Leader.Participate in daily pre-job briefs with contractor.Communication
Prepare or review contractors’ daily work plans. Communicate and coordinate these work plans with the station through the morning production, weekly planning, and daily outage meetings.Act as the primary site contact for project contractor. Ensure contractor work flows and all barriers to success are addressed.Communicate detailed reports of Safety, Human Performance, and Environmental events to management as required.Scope, Schedule, and Cost Compliance
Understand the contract, scope, and terms and conditions. Monitor and ensure the contractor compliance with the contract and out of scope change management.Responsible for review and signoff of contractor timesheets. Ensure accuracy of man-hours worked, material charges, and rental equipment. Review and approve invoices if delegated from project manager.Ensure that all site facilities required for contractors to complete the work successfully are procured and maintained.Implement risk mitigation strategies as planned within the project risk matrix.Work with project lead and contractors to develop schedule and communicate to planners. Update project schedule daily or as required by project manager for project and outage support.Monitor and evaluate the contractor(s) schedule and work progress. Evaluate and provide analysis of variances that may potentially impact critical path.Quality Compliance
Participate in material fabrication shop inspection visits and Factory Acceptance Tests.Ensure contractor performs inventory of all received materials including quality checks and sign-offs.Verify contractor(s) adherence and compliance with the QC work plan.Complete assigned Configuration Change Checklist items assigned. Ensure contractor maintains accurate red line/as built drawings throughout project and submit to lead engineer.Execute commissioning plan and maintain documentation as needed. Participate in pre-testing walk down as required. Assist project manager with the development of the project punch list, maintain the punch list, and ensure that the contractor adequately completes the punch list.Basic/Required Qualifications Associates degreeIn addition to required degree, 5 years related work experienceIn lieu of Associates degree(s) AND 5 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 9 year(s) related work experienceDesired Qualifications Bachelors degreeIn addition to desired degree, 5 years related work experience

Proficient in applying the principles of project managementEffective verbal and written communication skillsExperience in the power generation industryExperience and demonstrated computer skills including the ability to use various applications such as Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), work management system (Maximo), Plant Information (PI) programs.At least 5 years contract management experience in a power plant – directing the work of contractors.Working Conditions:
Onsite Mobility Classification – Work will be performed at a company facility. Performs work in an office environment; required to observe work in all areas of generating facilities which are power plant, industrial environments operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which includes exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and humidity. May be required to climb ladders and stairs at various heights; enter vessels or equipment with limited access; walk, stoop, bend or squat.Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use and reach with hands, arms and fingers. There is potential exposure to high stress situations and requirement to be available for emergency response as required by the needs of service. Must also have the ability to be respirator qualified.Travel Requirements
