Contract Risk Manager
Job Description

At Danfoss we are looking for our new Customer Contract Risk Manager

Job Responsibilities

Based on your deep understanding of contract requirements and negotiation skills, you will partner with front line sales personnel to implement improved contracts with customers that meet legal, industry, and Danfoss requirements. These contracts will ensure that Danfoss needs are met while improving customer loyalty. You can expect the following g activities:

 

 

• Alignment of contract terminology;

• Provide training on best practices and legal, industry, and Danfoss requirements;

• Apply legal requirements as defined by Danfoss corporate counsel and Risk Management & Compliance;

• Provide rules and guidance on structuring contracts, especially during the “build” phase of the customer’s machine life cycle;

• Develop clear global process for execution of warranty claims, including ability to monitor status, internal and external communication protocols and reserve management;

• Ensure that the contract approval process is well defined;

• Implement metrics to maintain control of contract development, approval and implementation;

• Effectively lead Account Managers to develop and implement contracts;

• Communicate the status of the contract development and approval processes;

• Monitor the customer’s perspective and lead activities to improve Customer Loyalty Index;

• Ensure contract storage requirements in English meet Danfoss legal policy.

Background & Skills

To be successful, we expect you to have a bachelor/master’s degree in (commercial) business, legal, compliance and or contract management. Combined with preferably 5 years of relevant work experience in a commercial and international business to business environment being involved with creation of contracts and negotiations. In addition, we would like to see the following:

 

· Experience with Account Management and or legal experience is a plus;

· Experience in business-to-business contract creation, management and risk management;

· Possess negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders on different levels;

· Have solid commercial and financial understanding;

· Ability to establish relationships with internal teams as well as customers senior management;

· Have a strategic mindset, self-driven attitude and able to make decisions;

· Able to simplify complex topics into main points and action items;

· Ability to find compromises between multiple and conflicting interests;

· Work and lead virtual teams and manage tasks across a matrix organisation;

· Have fluent language skills (in word and writing) for the English

· Not required but preferred German, French, Italian
