Contract (Site) Manager

We currently seek a high caliber Contracts Manager.
Based in Terneuzen area, you will be working for one of the worlds leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.

Scope
Contract Management covers the acquisition of “Services” such as Consultancy, Engineering and (mainly) Construction. Contract Managers report directly to the Project Contracts Manager and participate in the formulation of plans and the overall commercial management of contract packages. Contract Managers are responsible for performing contract activities in accordance with approved project procedures, plans, and global practices within their assigned area of responsibility

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Perform contractor prequalification 
•    Prepare and issue RFPs 
•    Evaluate proposals and prepare award recommendations 
•    Conduct contractor negotiations, including reporting and documenting negotiated savings 
•    Prepare, issue, and administer contracts and modifications in accordance with Signature Authority and Additional Delegation Forms 
•    Update contract development schedules in CMSiSM or an alternate approved system 
•    Verify and approve invoices in coordination with Accounts Payable 
•    Claims prevention, avoidance, mitigation, and management 
•    Other post-award contract administration 
•    Maintain contract files in secure areas at all times and verify documents are appropriately filed within the project shared directory 
•    Perform Contract closeout 
•    Conduct the bidding process ethically and in accordance with Fluor Corporation and Subsidiaries – Supply Chain Policies, and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics 

Typical Minimum Qualifications – Related Education, Experience & Skills
•    Accredited four (4) year degree in applicable field of study and eight (8) years* of work-related experience 
•    Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors 
•    Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job 
•    Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines 
•    Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner 
•    Good Dutch and English skills, (German and French preferable)
