Providence is calling a Contract Sourcing Manager, MedSurg who will:
Provide contract negotiation leadership, development and management services and counsel on matters for the Providence St Joseph Health enterprise Ensure that contracting services are provided according to enterprise and regional business need with priority placed on clinical/financial value, mitigating risk to the organization and legal and regulatory requirements, as well as stewardship Perform all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values, and philosophy Serve as a role model for the values and mission of the organization Prepare, negotiate, and administer multiple contracts pertaining to the various key suppliers Work with the contracts through all phases until completion (pre-proposal through closeout) with a variety of suppliers Perform risk assessment of proposal/contract terms and conditions Be responsible to formulate and execute strategies to minimize potential risks and maximize value and expenditure to the business Direct timely and comprehensive negotiation and administration of either Medical Surgical supplies and agreementsProvidence welcomes remote work for residents living within commutable distance (up to 120 miles) of our office location listed below:
Washington: RentonRequired qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience 3+ years experience in Contract Management, purchasing, supply management or a blend of healthcare and corporate contracting responsibilitiesPreferred qualifications for this position include:
1+ years’ experience in Implantable Devices: Managing device implants 1+ years' experience in IT Sourcing: Preference will be given to applications with IT, Healthcare or Project Management experience 1+ years' experience in Capital: Managing Capital ContractsWhy Join Providence?
