$54,846.00 -$65,000 USD AnnuallyESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes but isn't limited to the following:
Coordination of AMC contracts and agreements:Utilize contracting system to create, review, finalize and retain AMC contracts and agreements.Work with Purchasing to identify and resolve pricing discrepancies.Serves as the liaison between requesting department, legal and the supplier for contract negotiation, execution and problem resolution.Serves as a resource for contract interpretation, including pricing and terms and conditions.Provides data as needed on all existing contracts, including monitoring and reporting outcomes from the use of contracts.Coordination af Group Purchasing Organization {GPO} contracts and agreements:Complete surveys for GPO bid endeavors and educate Buyers on availability of GPO contracts.Monitor active contracts and agreements to validate tier accuracy and update as necessary.Coordination of bid opportunities:Work with the Business Analyst to report and analyze spend for supply chain contracting initiatives.Schedule and initiate bid procedures for non-contract supplies, equipment and services.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily as outlined in the Annual Competency Assessment. EDUCATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum: Bachelor's (4 yr) degree, preferably Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Supply Chain major.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum three - five years of experience in purchasing, contract management, or applicable experience in healthcare, finance, commercial business, or similar field. Clinical medical product knowledge helpful.In-depth knowledge of sourcing and contract management tools including contract administration, general best practices, legal principles, document management, negotiation, and sourcing and contracting management software.Experience creating, editing computer spreadsheet, databases and online tools to research, analyze and report on products an d services.Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!
