We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Contract Specialist is responsible for the interpretation and documentation of the contract terms into the PPMSI Operating/Payment system. What you will do in this role: + Responsible for having a total understanding of all contract clauses dealing with payment terms. + Serve as liaison between It Operations and Data Management Departments. + Communication with external and internal audiences to understand intent of contract and ensure that the end result is achieved. Serves as a liaison in reviewing claims errors and the interpretations that were made in the contract entry process. + Performs administrative functions including the documentation of the contracts terms. + Able to research complex contractual documents for interpretative purposes, utilize critical thinking skills. + Follow-up on inter-departmental requests for adds, changes, deletes, and credentialing information. + Research contract and DOR questions for other departments. + Ability to prioritize the work being reviewed. + Serve as back-up support for Letter-of-Agreement process for all ancillary providers required by all lines of business. + Serve as back-up support for the generation of contracts documents for all ancillary providers and providers required by all lines of business. + Perform other duties as assigned.
