This position gives you the opportunity to enhance, optimize and improve an already great Contracts & Tender process to be best in class in The Netherlands. Tenders, Contracts & Pricing works cross-functionally to realize Stryker commercial and corporate goals. This small team is comprised of individuals with diverse expertise but a common passion to drive Stryker’s agenda inside and outside of the organization within an extremely busy and deadline focused environment.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
Full accountability in managing the preparation and all commercial contracts through strong collaborative communication with the Sales/marketing team.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts related to medical device sales, procurement, distribution, and service agreements.
Ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedures.
Collaborate with legal, sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment on contractual terms and risk management.
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within contract management systems.
Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of contract policies, procedures, and best practices to increase process efficiencies and output effectiveness.
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections by providing necessary contract documentation and insights.
Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations in alignment with business goals.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management within the medical device sector.
Respond to on-going internal and external customer enquiries regarding contracts and pricing
Drive End-to-End contracting process
Education
Bachelors or Masters level in Business administration, Law, Healthcare Management or a related field
Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English.
Experience
Ideally 1-2 years' of related work experience in contract management, preferably in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience from; Medical Technology, Medical device or healthcare sector is preferred.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working cross-functionally with legal, sales, and procurement teams is preferred.
Knowledge of pricing structures, reimbursement policies, and supply chain considerations in the medical device industry is a plus.
Experience working in a multi-international business environment is preferred.
Adequate IT Knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office, Oracle and Power BI).
Travel Percentage: 10%
