Responsibilities:

Provide cradle to grave contract administration supportAssist with planning the procurement action.Assist with determining the type of contract that best meets the requirement.Develop special clauses.Assist with selecting solicitation and contract terms and conditions.Document the sources to be solicited.Conduct market research.Assist with the evaluation of proposals.Document the price/cost analysis.Document the recommendation and execution of awards.Assist with monitoring and contract performance documentation.Document negotiations.  Prepare documents utilizing the PRISM and SAP systems.Prepare contract modifications.Assist with Post Award Follow-ups.Report PreparationFunction in mid-level capacity under the guidance of a Contract Specialist/Administrator carrying out pre-determined and recurring contract administration duties.

Requirements:

US CitizenAbility to pass agency background checkAbility to pass a pre-employment background checkBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceFive years’ relevant contracting experienceKnowledge and exposure to different contract types.Knowledge of the FAR and/or DFARS.Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Contract certifications (DAWIA, FAC-C, or previously held Contracting Officer warrants) are preferred but not required.
