Contract Workday Architect

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Workday Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Workday solutions that align with an organization’s specific business requirements. This role involves understanding business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, configuring Workday, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. Additionally, they play a crucial role in testing, training, and providing ongoing support for the Workday system.

Configuration and Customization:

Configure Workday to meet specific organizational requirements, including user access, security settings, and business processes. 

Integration:

Design and manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring data consistency and security. 

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Develop and execute test plans to ensure the Workday system functions correctly and meets business needs. 

Training and Support:

Provide training to end-users on how to use the Workday system effectively and offer ongoing support. 

Project Management:

Lead Workday-related projects, including upgrades, new module implementations, and process improvements. 

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement opportunities to improve business processes and streamline workflows within the Workday system. 

Compliance and Security:

Ensure Workday systems comply with relevant regulations and security standards. 

Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation. 

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and document them accurately. 

Solution Design:

Develop comprehensive solution architectures that align with business objectives and best practices. 

Qualification Requirements

Deep understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integrations.Strong knowledge of HR processes and HRIS implementations.Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, and Financials.Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Workday Studio.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Project management experience.Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management.(Preferred) Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations, or Architecture.
