Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Contracting Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll support the development, negotiation, and management of healthcare contracts that ensure quality care and strategic partnerships across our network. You’ll analyze contract terms, assess financial impacts, and collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Managed Care Contracting Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $27.80 - $41.69 per hour, depending on experience ----- Job Responsibilities: + Assist in developing contract models and perform financial analyses to compare current and proposed reimbursement terms, determining the overall financial impact of contract changes. + Maintain and manage managed care contracting databases and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records. + Review, track, and manage contracts throughout the implementation process, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely execution and compliance. + Analyze and monitor reimbursement accuracy for hospital and physician contracts by reviewing Soarian Financial Master Files, executed contracts, and managed care databases. + Generate Soarian Financial reports to identify variances, billing discrepancies, and opportunities for improved reimbursement or contract optimization. + Track monthly reimbursement discrepancies and provide trending analyses to detect recurring issues or payer errors, supporting corrective actions. + Collaborate closely with Managed Care Contracting staff and other internal departments to support contract negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management. + Complete special projects and ad hoc reports as needed to support departmental goals and strategic initiatives.
